The Crown Hill Village Association presents a range of unique, hyperlocal events. In addition to regular local meetups like Garden work parties, nights out with the Smart Growth team, or neighborhood cleanups, we host a series of annual flagship events. Crown Hill Connectors are neighbors who advocate for their micro communities. Your community could be your street, your block, or your building. Connectors help build strong communities in many ways.
Facilitate Activities: Teach your block how to close your street for a block party! Organize neighborhood cleanups. Remind your block about upcoming events.
Spread the Intel: Keep your block informed about CHV news, community events, or opportunities to provide their input to City planning!

- Get your thumbs green: Join our all-volunteer team for some good, muddy fun. Meet your neighbors and learn a ton from our dedicated garden leaders!
- Love where you live: Help make our village more beautiful and more delicious! Our Edible Urban Forest provides free snacks for all while keeping our public spaces clean and welcoming.
- Feed your neighbors: Our community gardens have donated over ONE TON of fresh, healthy produce to Ballard Food bank. That’s a real contribution!
- Put down roots: Like Crown Hill Village, our gardens are growing richer and stronger every year. Come and put your roots down with us!
The Commitee for Smart Growth ensures that Crown Hill neighbors have a voice when City of Seattle plans will impact our village.
- Village Networking: We connect with neighbors and local businesses to stay in touch with local priorities.
- City of Seattle: Neighbors were deeply engaged in the City’s Community Action Plan for Crown Hill Urban Village. We continue to link neighbors to every opportunity to offer our feedback to the City.
- Big Dreams, Local Priorities: We dream big for our community, while keeping our focus on local issues.
- City Counci: We stay in touch with our City Council representatives to ensure Village priorities stay top-of-mind.
