Holman Grove Work Party
Holman Grove Mary Ave NW & 90th StA new way to use public land in Seattle! Right-of-way land owned by the City of Seattle should serve the community. Right of way is land like the strips of grass between the road and the sidewalk, or odd little triangles of grass created by Seattle’s famous 5 way intersections. We can improve these spaces for people to use and enjoy as our City grows. If used to their potential, these right of way areas can be beautiful community spaces to grow native plants, edible plants or, more beautiful plants. August Distanced Garden Work Party
Holman Grove Mary Ave NW & 90th StJoin the Community Garden to tear out ivy! Ivy is invasive and depletes vital resources that trees need to thrive. Come help us continue the project to turn the "triangle off Holman" into community garden space. The community garden donates food grown to the Ballard Food Bank, and makes our neighborhood more beautiful. Bring gloves and tools if you have them. Stop by for a bit of social distanced volunteering!
