Goonies Never Say Die! but. We had to rethink our plan. Rain in August!?! The Crown Hill Outdoor Movie was transformed into a last minute indoor movie. Our amazing volunteers spent months planning the summer movie, then with the help of neighborhood organizations they changed the plan to save the day. Summer?? Street Fest The annual Street Festival felt more like a winter event, but Crown Hill was not to be deterred. The surf band made us want to catch a wave as we all dodged the lighting storm! Set up was treacherous but neighbors managed to get the event ready despite the pouring rain. We were excited to welcome neighborhood businesses who helped to make the event so special. Outdoor Movie Night The date is set - August 23rd. We aren't popping the corn, but the order is in with Mimi's Zero Waste. The final big piece? We have to pick the movie! The Princess Bride was so much fun last year - and we will definitely do that again - but we wanted to mix it up this year.
