Crown Hill Village Action Plan We love it when a plan comes together! Some of you may remember the days when we packed into the Small Faces gym and milled about discussing Crown Hill's future. Those crowded workshops aren't coming back yet, but the Community Action Plan that we crafted during those gatherings is moving again! The Community Action Plan is the result of a massive collaboration between City offices, neighbors, and business owners. In February of 2020, the completed plan was presented to the Mayor's office for signature. Unfortunately, before we could get it signed, [...]

And, you can help! Crown Hill Village is building a network of community allies: Crown Hill Connectors are the contact and advocate for their street/building/micro-community. They will share information, highlight issues or needs, and facilitate activities for night out and play streets (when it's safe). Commitment is minimal.....the reality is that it doesn't take much effort to build the connections that help build community. Click here [...]

Holman Grove What is Holman Grove?!? Last winter, the Crown Hill Village Association and the Committee for Smart Growth created a project to help the community envision a neighborhood heart. The Bullitt Foundation funded a program to connect neighborhood groups with the University of Washington and the City of Seattle. The goal was to put public right of way to creative use. At the same time, the city’s neighborhood planning process was collecting community feedback about the community's priorities and vision. Crown Hill is growing quickly, and one issue identified by the neighborhood plan process is that [...]
